Biography

Laura Trogolo (Bogotá, 1980) is a Colombian-Argentine artist whose practice takes shape through different media and forms. She moved to Madrid in 2000 and has since lived in several cities, an experience that continues to shape her work. Plants, animals, sweets, maps and nocturnal scenes recur as fragments of sensory memory, moving between the natural, the domestic and the urban. Across her work, she traces how the body finds its bearings, remembers and changes, while keeping the question of belonging open. She studied Visual Arts at Universidad Javeriana, graduated in Interior Architecture from ETSAM Madrid in 2007, and completed Ar.Co's Full Painting Program in 2026.

She currently lives and works between Madrid and Lisbon.
